Leaving his job and family behind, John is invigorated by his new work. While working, he falls in love with a beautiful immigrant woman named Osa (Osa Massen). He quickly works with Osa to organize her and her neighbors to demand better living conditions. It turns out John is agitating against his father-n-law at the real estate company where he used to work. Written by New Dealer John Larkin and famed writer Dalton Trumbo, Accent on Love is a film that seeks to highlight the stark choices faced by both wealthy and average people during the Great Depression. This film makes clear the values of FDR's New Deal programs through an accessible and compelling story.
