PG-13
Ace High is a spaghetti Western from 1968. The film follows Cacopoulos (Eli Wallach) after he evades hanging for a crime he did not commit. Freed, he turns to crime to make his way in the world. He robs 300,000 dollars from the coffers of two other thieves, Cat Stevens (Terence Hill) and Hutch Bessy (Bud Spencer). Like a Western Robin Hood, Cacopoulos spreads the money around quite generously. However, Cat and Hutch do not approve of this use of the money they stole. When they find him, the money is gone. Cacopoulos explains he is out for revenge against those that had him wrongfully sent to jail. The three thieves join forces to find Drake (Kevin McCarthy), the man who wronged Cacopoulos. Drake runs a casino and the men work out a plan to hurt his business. Ace High is a funny, violent spaghetti Western that will be familiar to any fans of the genre.
