Ace Ventura Pet Detective Jr. is a spin-off Ace Ventura Pet Detective, released in 2009. The film begins with Ace (Josh Flitter) hunting down and capturing a rat. After this, Ace has a dream in which a panda is captured. He learns there may be something to this dream when he goes to school the next day and finds out that the pets of many of his classmates have disappeared. Meanwhile, Ace's mother, Melissa (Ann Cusack) is blamed for the theft of a panda. Ace begins an investigation to clear his mother's name and find out who really stole the panda and the other animals. He is assisted in the search by one of his classmates, A-Plus (Austin Rogers). At first he believes that the quirky Dr. Sickinger (Cullen Douglas) has stolen the panda. Evidence turns up that Dr. Sickinger did not do it, so Ace must figure out who the real culprit is.moreless
