Iron Eagle III is an American 1992 action movie directed by John Glen. Chappy Sinclair (Lou Gossett, Jr.), now retired from the Air Force, operates an air circus featuring vintage World War Two fighters. With the help of two friends (Sonny Chiba and Christopher Cazenove) he makes a living staging mock dog fights and acrobatic demonstrations. The quiet life of a retiree is suddenly put on hold when Chappy learns that one of his friends, Ramon Morales, died in a plane crash while smuggling cocaine. Soon the dead man's daughter (Rachel McLish) arrives looking for help. Her small village in Peru has been taken over by a drug cartel, and her grandfather, the village mayor, is being held hostage. Apparently Ramon was coerced into flying drug planes into the U.S. When Chappy's attempt to get help from the Air Force fails, he decides to take matters into his own hands. With the help of his friends, and rearmed and upgraded World War Two fighters, Chappy travels to Peru to do battle with the cartel.moreless
