After a violent run-in with the sociopathic son of businessman Peter Anthony Dellaplane, Detroit Police Lieutenant Jericho 'Action' Jackson is demoted to Sergeant. Assigned to investigate the assassinations of a number of prominent Union members linked to Dellaplane's car manufacture company, Jackson soon discovers an underworld of murder, drugs and political conspiracy. After he is framed for murder, Jackson must seek the help of Dellaplane's heroin-addicted mistress Sydney Ash to embark upon a personal crusade for revenge, and to regain the respect of his fellow police officers at the same time.
