Adrenalin: Fear the Rush is a science fiction action film directed by Albert Pyun that takes place in an alternative future in the year 2007 in a timeline where the Russian government has collapsed just as a virus spreads throughout Europe and Asia, leaving the United States cut off from the world. With its port city of Boston quarantined and barricaded, the residents there are not allowed into the rest of the country in fear the virus decimating its citizens. When a number of people are slaughtered within the safe zone by an unknown creature, the police, including Delon (Natasha Henstridge) and Lemieux (Christopher Lambert), are sent to investigate the bloodbath. As their team is taken out one by one, Delon and Lemieux meet up with a group of scientists and learn this creature is the cause of the virus. Time, it seems, is running out before Boston becomes another hot zone.
