Against a Crooked Sky is a western film produced in 1975 that tests the strength of family bonds. Charlotte (Jewel Blanche) and Sam (Stewart Peterson) are the oldest siblings in a pioneer family. A group of traveling indians see Charlotte while she is bathing in a river and fancy her. That night, while their parents are out, the mysterious indians kidnap her. The people in the pioneer village start a search, but soon give up hope. Sam, feeling as though he is responsible, sneaks out to try to find her. He gets help from a drunk named Russian (Richard Boone). Russian agrees to translate for Sam only after Sam proves to him there is gold near the indian village. During their quest, they get a mysterious clue, the test of "Crooked Sky". When they find Charlotte and the indian tribe Charlotte is facing execution. In order to save his sister Sam must pass the challenge of "Crooked Sky", which may cost him his life.moreless
