Agent Cody Banks is an action comedy film that follows the story of a teenage boy working undercover for the CIA. Cody Banks (Frankie Muniz) is like any other 15-year-old boy; he hates doing homework and chores and fights to stay out of trouble. What makes him different is that he is an undercover spy for the CIA. His first assignment is to protect Natalie (Hilary Duff), the daughter of Dr. Albert Conners (Martin Donovan). Dr. Conners makes microscopic robots that are able to eat away all carbon-based life forms. He has unknowingly been supplying these robots to Brinkman (Ian McShane), who plans to destroy Earth. The CIA believes Brinkman and his men may try to hurt or kidnap Natalie in order to get Dr. Connors to continue helping them. But Cody Banks has different plans; with his newly acquired skills, taught to him by the CIA, Cody devises a plan to protect Natalie while defeating Brinkman and his evil cronies.

A clever and lively action-adventure with a warm sense of humor and smart dialogue that allows for an affectionate and fleet-footed satire of the classic elements of the Bond franc...

As a spy pic, it has more pizzazz than the last few Bond adventures, "The Sum of All Fears" or "The Recruit."

This Frankenfilm comes lumbering out of the laboratory of the Danish director Harald Zwart, any trace of personality surgically removed and replaced by a fully road-tested cliché.
