Alice Cooper: Welcome To My Nightmare is a 1975 Alice Cooper concert classic, in which his trademark horror stage act is hosted by Vincent Price. The concert was performed in London's Wembley arena, and many of his hit songs are included, such as Only Women Bleed, School's Out, The Black Widow, and Steven. Sound and production quality is typical of the era. Alice Cooper wears the famous black eye makeup and jumper suit and monstrous creatures appear throughout the show, including a giant spider web and a furry Cyclops. The concert is a visual reproduction of the concept album of the same name, that of the nightmares of a child named Steven, and is therefore set in Alice Cooper/Steven's bedroom. The show is a trip back in time that gives viewers the opportunity to see the birth of a legend and what may well have been the start of over-the-top showmanship and drama in rock concerts, as well as the birth of Spinal Tap.moreless
