Alien Nation: The Enemy Within is a 1996 made for TV science fiction/murder mystery film inspired by the 1989 theatrical production Alien Nation. It is written by Dianne Frolov and Andrew Schneider, and directed by Kenneth Johnson. The Enemy Within is the fourth movie in the series that picks up where the TV series of the same name ended. Los Angeles homicide detectives Sikes (Gary Graham), an earthling, and Francisco (Gary Graham), and alien, are back with a new murder mystery to solve. Alien prejudices and a caste system are brought to light when an Eenos is murdered. Detective Fransisco is at first reluctant to investigate the death of such a lowly member of his species. A group trained to do only the most dirty and dangerous work and almost universally considered expandable. However, as the investigation unfolds he is forced to reassess his own biases in order to save the city from destruction.
