Paul W.S. Anderson
Released:
2004
Rating:
PG-13

Alien vs. Predator follows a team assembled by ailing billionaire Charles Bishop Weyland, a co-founder in the well known Weyland-Yutani Corporation, as they set out to figure out just what is underneath the harsh icy island of Bouvetoya before anyone else does. Not exactly what Weyland thought it was, the group led by survivalist guide Alexa Woods discovers an Aztec pyramid deep beneath the ice and soon realize that it was a hunting ground, prepped with sacrificial chambers and an ever-moving puzzle of walls and floors. Centuries before, Earth was used as a battleground for the dangerous Predators as they used the humans as hosts for the Aliens and now with Weyland's collection of humans, the setting is set again for another round, except the Alien Queen is not quite content to stay captive for another one hundred years.
