Aliens in the Attic is a 2009 science fiction family adventure movie by director John Schultz, starring Carter Jenkins, Austin Robert Butler, Ashley Tisdale, Ashley Boettcher, Henri Young, Regan Young, and Doris Roberts. When Stuart Pearson drags his family along with him for a restful summer vacation in Creek Landing, Michigan, all the kids are expecting a fairly dull, uneventful summer. At least they have television, right? Wrong. The television in the lake house they rented does not seem to work, which they soon discover is due to a completely destroyed satellite dish. It turns out that the reason the satellite dish is broken is because aliens crashed into it! These aliens want to take over Earth, using mind control technology that only works on adults, and they lock the children into the attic, so that they cannot prevent the adults from being brainwashed. But these kids are not going to give up that easily and soon they are tapping into all of their creativity to try to bust out of the attic and save the world! Aliens in the Attic was nominated for a 2009 Teen Choice Award for Ashley Tisdale’s performance as Bethany Pearson.moreless
