All About My Mother is a thrilling drama from 1999 that takes place in Madrid and Barcelona. A single mother is walking around town with her son on his 17th birthday when he is runs to get an autograph from a famous actress and is tragically killed. The mother, Manuela (Cecilia Roth), goes on a search to find the father of her recently deceased son. This takes Manuela on a wild adventure throughout the city of Barcelona to find a man named Lola (Tony Canto) who is a transvestite in the big city. Lola is an extremely difficult man to track down, and in her search to find him Manuela encounters many old friends as well as a few new faces. Will Manuela be able to pass by all of her old friends without a care? Or will it turn out that she get sidetracked along the way to finding Lola?moreless
