Allan Quatermain and the Temple of Skulls is the 2008 direct to video period action adventure, chronicling the latest adventure of author H. Rider Haggard's iconic explorer hero, Allan Quatermain, directed by Mark Atkins (Battle of Los Angeles, Princess of Mars, Merlin and the War of the Dragons, Haunting of Winchester House). In South Africa, a rich aristocrat Sir Henry Curtis (Daniel Bonjour, Midnight Movie, Dragonquest) and his sister Lady Anna (Natalie Stone, 30,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Propose to Me) are looking for their missing brother. They enlist an adventurer Allan Quatermain (Sean Cameron Michael, 24: Redemption, Faith Like Potatoes, Curse of the Smoke O'Lantern) to reach The Temple of Skulls, using a map torn in half. A native Umbopa (Wittly Jourdan, AVH: Alien vs. Hunter, Titanic II) accompanies them who, unlike the original novel and other film adaptations, is a woman here.
