Almost Normal is a 2005 American film directed by Marc Moody and starring J. Andrew Keitch, Tim Hammer, and Joan Lauckner. In this comedic drama, Keitch plays Brad Jenkins, a middle-aged gay professor who reluctantly attends his family reunion. Brad has a few too many drinks and on his drive home crashes his car. Brad is magically brought back to his high school days but this time, however, in a parallel universe where everyone he knows is gay. Brad is asked out on a date by his former high school crush, and captain of the football team, Roland (Tim Hammer). Brad's world gets turned on its head when he begins to have an attraction for new classmate Julie (Lauckner). When Brad returns to his normal life, he reconnects with the high school jock, only to discover a surprising truth about his own insecurity. Almost Normal won the Best of the Fest award at the 2005 Breckenridge Festival of Film.
