Alone in the Dark II follows in the footsteps of its frightening predecessors. The first film, Alone in the Dark, Directed by Uwe Boll received universal dismissal, box office derision and critical rejection. Nevertheless, the sequel was made. Based on a series of popular and excellent video games on the Xbox, Alone in the Dark II features the story of a century old witch (Allison Lange) planning to sacrifice a young girl with a mystical dagger. In the film, we watch the violent unfolding of the witch's plot of terror and black magic. A team of witch hunters, made up of people from all walks of life, go to find the witch's blade and stop her evil plan. Edward Carnby (Rick Yune) heads the team, and faces the violent wrath of the witch and the danger of the knife. The violent mayhem that ensues will create laughs of surprise and screams of fright.
