Along the Navajo Trail is a classic Roy Rogers (Roy Rogers) movie released in 1945 and directed by Frank McDonald where Roy Rogers is the U.S. Deputy Marshall charged with finding the bad guy while two ladies compete for his attention. Deputy Rogers is convinced the man he is looking for, a rogue government agent, is hiding out at Ladder A Ranch which belongs to Dale's (Lorry Alastair) father. Meanwhile, a caravan of gypsies come to town bringing with them a complication in the form of a good-looking gypsy woman. A group at Ladder A Ranch are determined to thwart Deputy Roger's attempt to arrest the fugitive to protect their own oil interests in the land. Between a cowgirl and a gypsy fighting for his affection and the fugitive government agent hiding at a ranch sitting on an oil pipeline, Deputy Rogers and his trusty steed Trigger have their hands full.
