Amazons of Rome is a 1961 Italian action film directed by Carlo Ludovico Bragaglia and Vittorio Cottafavi. The film follows the Etruscan warrior Drusco (played by Louis Jourdan) who is marching down the Italian Peninsula to sack Ancient Rome. However he offers to instead keep back his detruction if the Romans hand over their hostages that include Clelia (played by Silvia Syms). Clelia is the sexy leader of a clan of women warriors (of course!). However it's not long until betrayal and internal intrigue unravel the fragile peace between the warrior and the women. This film has been dubbed and is really only of interest to fans of cheesy old sword and sandals epics.
