American Dragon, also known as Double Edge, is the story of a series of murders in Seoul, Korea and the United States. They bring together police officers from each country to solve the international mystery. Detective Tony Luca (Michael Biehn) is partnered with Korean cop Kim (Joong-Hoon Park) as they each tackle their own personal demons. Kim is out for revenge against the Yakuza for the killings of his wife and daughter while Luca investigated the American mafia that employed his father as a hitman. Their personal vendettas dovetail nicely with the case. They track the battle between the Yakuza and the Mafia that appears to be responsible for the killings. Though they dislike each other at the start, Luca and Kim manage to work together and develop a grudging respect for one another. American Dragon is a thrilling and violent film featuring the best of Asian and American action movies.moreless
