American Ninja 2: The Confrontation is a classic martial arts film from 1987 which pits Army Ranger Joe Armstrong (Michael Dudikoff) against Leo "The Lion" Burke (Gary Conway), a diabolical mob boss who has plans to create an evil army of ninjas. Burke has kidnapped a scientist and forced him to work in cloning mutants to serve in his army. Unaware of this, Armstrong is sent to a remote Caribbean island to search for some missing Marines. They have been disappearing from their base, and Armstrong goes to investigate. Attacked by surprise by a group of ninjas, Armstrong suddenly realizes that the island is under the control of a complex crime network. When a local girl, Alicia (Michelle Botes), disappears, Armstrong takes on the local gang. He moves from hangout to crime den taking on massive brawls to get to the heart of the kidnapping conspiracy. However, Armstrong realizes that he himself is going to have to pose as a ninja if he is to get to the heart of Burke's schemes.moreless
