American Pie Presents: Beta House is a direct-to-DVD comedy film and is the sixth American Pie film in the franchise. The film stars Erik, portrayed by John White, the shy cousin of the outlandish Steve Stifler from the original American Pie franchise. Steve Stifler's younger brother, Dwight is also in the film and he is just as much an outgoing, party-animal as his brother. Erik Stifler is dealing with heartbreak because his girlfriend recently dumped him for an ex-boyfriend named Trent. Although that doesn't stop him from pledging BETA, the most rambunctious fraternity house on the college campus. The film has an entertaining sequence where the protagonists endure "hazing" from the fraternity house that lives up to the American Pie name. The film was so successful that it paved the way for a sequel entitled The Book of Love which included Eugene Levy reprising his role as Jim's dad, Noah Levenstein.
