American Pie Presents: The Book of Love is a comedic film directed by John Putch that centers on three luckless virgins, Rob (Bug Hall), Nathan (Kevin M. Horton), and Lube (Brandon Hardesty), as they take on the task to lose their virginity by school's end. Rob is still pining for his crush, Nathan's girlfriend Dana (Melanie Papalia) has taken a vow of abstinence, and Lube fantasizes about a cheerleader. It has been eleven years since Jim, Kevin, Oz, Finch, and Stifler roamed the very same halls at East Great Falls High and it seems the plight of the sexless reigns strong until Rob stumbles upon Òthe BibleÓ or Book of Love stock full of sexual how-to's and guides from the past forty years. With a new tool in their quest, Rob ruins his chances with his crush Heidi (Beth Behrs) as Scott Stifler (John Patrick Jordan) threatens to make his move and he accidentally sets the library Ð and the Book of Love Ð on fire. Now as the boys are left with nothing, they try to pull whatever they can from the fire and water decimated book in the hopes of finally scoring for the first time. American Pie Presents: The Book of Love is one of the most recent films in the ranks of the American Pie series.moreless
