Amorous Adventures of Moll Flander is a 1965 remake of Daniel Defoe's novel "The Famed English Adventure of Moll Flanders" we find the main character, Moll (Kim Novak) in the 18th century serving as a maid. Moll begins her upwards climb in society working for an English family comprised of sex hungry men. Upon marrying the not-so-bright second son of the family she is left unsatisfied when her new husband continuously chooses alcohol over being with her. Moll takes yet another risk by becoming a maid and companion to a count and his wife to raise her social status. Meanwhile, she also begins seeing a banker on the side who she marries a short while later. The film continues with Moll climbing the social ladder and using her sex appeal to help her get there. Amorous Adventures of Moll Flander is filled with flirting, deceit and pure good luck and Moll is an interesting and beautiful character who leaves even the audience wanting to see more of her.moreless
