Anaconda is a 1997 horror film starring Jennifer Lopez, Ice Cube, and Jon Voight in a tale about a National Geographic documentary crew whose mission to film a group of natives turns into a deadly struggle for survival after a record-shattering-sized anaconda snake begins attacking the crew. Terri Flores (Lopez) is a documentary director floating along the Amazon river with her seven-person crew. Ice Cube plays Danny Rich, a tough and capable cameraman. Everything is going smoothly until they meet a stranded snake hunter named Paul Sarone (Voight) who offers to help them find the tribe theyâre looking for. Little does the crew know, Sarone is on a mission to capture a mythical snake of monstrous proportions and wants to use the crew to help him. Owen Wilson appears as Gary, the soundman who sides with the dangerous Sarone. The film crew will have to survive both the attacks of the giant anaconda and the villainous plots of Sarone if they hope to make it out of the jungle alive. Anaconda was a huge hit at the box office and features music by Ice Cube.
