Anatomy is a horror-thriller film from Germany that exposes an ancient secret society in the halls of a prestigious medical school. The film opens with the Heidelberg University notifying Paula (Franka Potente) that she's been accepted for the next term. Her grandfather (Rudiger Vogler) is an alumnus, and he is very proud of his granddaughter. On the train heading to her new school, she meets David (Arndt Schwering-Sohnrey), who helps her with her baggage. Paula arrives late for her first anatomy class, where the mysterious Professor Grombek (Traugott Buhre) instantly ridicules her. Paula feels that something is wrong when the body used in the class for dissection turns out to be David. Her classmate Hein (Benno Furmann) is a promising young student liked by all the professors. Hein warns Paula to not dig too deep into her investigation of what happened to David. Unfortunately, Paula's curiosity gets the best of her, and she discovers that a club called the Anti-Hippocratic Society exists at her school. Paula learns that live human subjects and peopled deemed worthless to society become victims of the club's experiments. Hein is the club's current leader, and after he kills his girlfriend Gretchen (Anna Loos) in a jealous rage, Paula finds that she may be the next victim on Hein's list.moreless
