And God Created Woman is Roger Vadim's 1988 re-make of his 1956 French film of the same name. Rebecca De Mornay stars as the drop-dead gorgeous Robin Shea, a scheming temptress who uses her looks to get anything she wants—even a free pass out of prison. Robin Shea isn't the type of woman to settle for her fate behind bars. She devises an escape plan after growing tired of her imprisonment. The plan fails, but while escaping she has a steamy run-in with Billy, a studly carpenter who works for the prison. The two share a passionate moment, and Robin comes up with a new plan to break out. She marries Billy. With a new husband, the board grants her early parole and she's back out on the streets. Her new marriage, however, does little to abate Robin's passion for controlling men to get what she wants. She jeopardizes her marriage to Billy when she meets a promising political candidate who could carry her to the top. In And God Created Woman, Robin will have to choose between her career of seduction and the man who busted her out of prison.moreless
