Android Apocalypse, also know as Facing Extinction, is a 2006 TV Sci-Fi channel movie directed by Paul Ziller and written by Karl Schiffman. In a postapocalyptic world ruled by mechanical androids, two individuals must cooperate, for the survival of their people, one another, and themselves. Jute (Scott Bairstow), is a human outlaw accused of murdering an android. While Jute is being transported to an incarceration facility along with a misunderstood android, DeeCee (Joseph Lawrence), that has begun feeling human emotions, their transport is attacked. The two escape together, and, despite their racial differences, must work together to avoid the android authorities. However, survival may not be an option if the Android leader is allowed to execute his genocidal conspiracy to wipe the Earth clean of humans, for good. After discovering his plot, the two protagonists decide to stop it, and it seems that there is no way out without a fight.
