Animal Room is a 1995 dramatic thriller directed by Craig Singer. In the film, Arnold Mosk (Neil Patrick Harris) is a high school drug addict. Although he is intelligent and sensitive, he gets caught using drugs and is sent to a rehabilitation school as punishment. The new school is called "The Animal House" and consists of other students with the same addictions as Arnold. The Animal House has no rules or order. Arnold's arrival at the new school gets the attention of a bully, Doug Van Housen (Matthew Lillard). Doug and his followers make it their mission to make life horrible for the struggling Arnold. The situation gets violent and Arnold ends up in a deadly situation. When his childhood friend, Gary Trancer (Gabriel Olds), learns Arnold is in danger he steps up to help him out. This proves to be a mistake for Gary. Will Arnold survive the rehabilitation school and beat his drug habit, or is he at risk of losing his battle with drugs and his life?moreless
