Annapolis is a triumphant tale of the human will where a never-say-die attitude is all you need to fulfill your dreams. Jake Huard promises his ill mother that he will make it to Annapolis and realize her dream of him becoming a naval officer. Standing in Jake's way are his poor grades, but he pesters a Congressman into pulling some strings and getting him admitted into the Naval Academy. Jake quickly proves to be unworthy of his post and finds himself getting frustrated, and nearly quitting. An encounter with his unsupportive and critical father leads Jake to double his resolve and stick with the promise he made to his mother. After a rough start, can Jake find his way in the demanding world of the United States Naval Academy?
