Another World is a 1995 short documentary directed and produced by Nabil Shaban, released in 2007, which is an investigation of two handicapped people looking to find signs of paranormal or spiritual activity within various facilities for disabled persons. Disabled woman Tina Leslie and photographer Brian Vickers visit numerous special care homes, schools for children with special needs, workshops and others, to discover any indication of ghosts presence or other mystical forces. Their material includes interviews with people who claim to have witnessed strange and abnormal things happen in their institution, and photos of bizzare appearances that may be signs of ghost activity. This 30-minute documentary will transport the viewer into a world where logic and reasonable thought are substituted by intuition, spiritual forces and fear. Although far from being hard evidence about ghost existence, the photos and the interviews serve as an intriguing insight into the life of people who populate the institutions, which authors believe are haunted houses.
