Anyone Can Play (Le Dolci Signore) is a 1960s Italian sex comedy about the entwined stories of four gorgeous girls - Norma (Ursula Andress), Luisa (Virna Lisi), Paola (Marisa Mell) and Esmerelda (Claudine Auger), who decide to hit the town one night leaving behind their unhappy married lives and husbands, in a bid to relieve themselves of their sexual tensions. Esmeralda, neglected by her husband, is almost forced to betray her husband. Luisa is actually blackmailed for having an affair. Paola performs a striptease, first forbidden and then encouraged by her husband. Anna suffers from a horrible nightmare of being raped by a man every night and tries to get rid of the dream by actually sleeping with him. The movie's script was written by the notable Ruggero Maccari and Ettore Scola. It was directed by Luigi Zampa of the "Yank in Rome" fame and he also stars in Jean Pierre Cassel.
