Anything But Love is a 2002 romance drama about a cabaret singer who is forced to make a decision between two men who both could aid her music career. Billie Golden (Isabel Rose) daydreams about singing in her own swank lounge or performing as an entertainer in the classic musicals of the 1940s, but her day-to-day life is much different as she lives in a run-down house in Queens with few plans for the future. Soon however, she runs into an old classmate who has done well for himself as a lawyer. The man, Greg Ellenbogen (Cameron Bancroft), has always held a torch for her and Billie knows he could be the person to financially help her dreams come true. On the other hand, Billie has also fallen for a hipster piano player named Elliott (Andrew McCarthy), who while he is not of the same means as Greg - believes in her ability more. When Greg asks for her hand in marriage, the singer becomes torn between the two men and begins to question her own wants and needs.moreless
