Apocalypse 2012: The World After Time Ends strives to reawaken humanity's spiritual past before the Earth grows tired of the destruction of its environment. Bruce Weaver directs the documentary film that intertwines stunning archival footage with interviews from academic leaders and spiritual elders and sages to discuss how mankind is hastening a dramatic change in the world through industrialization and continued overuse of the resources provided by Mother Earth. Former Green Beret and Choctaw medicine man Sequoyah Trueblood offers stories from Native American spiritualists while environmentalist Dr. John Todd offers scientific data to challenge the world into rethinking and reviving those ancient spiritual paths. Other interviews come from leaders in the global sustainability movement, healers and secular prophets. Through it all, individuals are shown how they are empowered to effect real and dramatic change in the world, helping bring about a sustainable future. While humans' selfish actions in the past will no doubt cause the Earth to make shifts to restore balance, the film offers hope and courage to face those changes.moreless
