Attack of the Puppet People is a 1958 horror film directed by Bert Gordon. Since Sally Reynolds (June Kenny) is desperate for money, she decides to become a secretary for Mr. Franz (John Hoyt), who runs the company Dolls, Inc. As soon as she takes the job, Sally starts to become concerned that lonely Mr. Franz is too obsessed with his dolls. She starts to worry even more when she realizes that Mr. Franz's previous secretary, Janet Hall (Jean Moorehead), mysteriously disappeared. When salesman Bob Westley (John Agar) comes to Dolls, Inc. to work with Mr. Franz, he soon forms a romantic relationship with Janet. After Janet expresses her distaste at working for the odd Mr. Franz, Bob proposes that she marry him and move with him to St. Louis. However, their plans are thwarted when Bob goes missing. Janet then discovers a strange doll that looks like Bob in Mr. Franz's possession, causing her to suspect that he is turning humans into living dolls.moreless
