Movie Summary

Austin Powers in Goldmember is the third installment of the Austin Power series. The story finds Dr. Evil and his accomplice Mini-Me have escaped from maximum-security prison and are hatching a new evil time-traveling scheme from their secret lair behind the Hollywood sign. Their plan involves the kidnapping of Austin Powers' famous, super-spy father, Nigel Powers and enlisting the help of Johan van der Smut, aka Goldmember, and his cold fusion unit for a tractor beam invention to melt to polar ice caps resulting in the flooding of the earth. Austin Powers discovers his father has been kidnapped by Dr. Evil. and travels back in 1975 to rescue him. There, Austin meets up with old-flame, streetwise and stylish FBI agent Foxxy Cleopatra. The team must find a way to save Nigel, and stop Dr. Evil and Goldmember from destroying the earth!
