Ba'al is a fantasy horror movie from director Paul Ziller, co-written by Ziller and Andrew Black. Dying of cancer, archeologist Stanford (Scott Hylands) is in search of four amulets that will cure him. The amulets are consecrated to Ba'al, the banished god of storms, and each one found increases his power. With the-unwitting and occasionally unwilling-help of younger archeologist Helm (Jeremy London) and beautiful linguist Carol (Stephanie von Pfetten), and pursued by government agents, the trio seek the amulets, while Ba'al's baleful influence is felt as catastrophic storms begin to strike in cities all over the world. Stanford, in his desperation, is willing to go to any lengths to find a cure, including implicating his younger colleague in murder. Meanwhile, talented weather scientist, Pena (Lexa Doig), tries to convince her skeptical superiors that the bizarre rash of storms are more than a statistical anomaly, but are the result of dark forces on the rise.
