BachelorMan is a 2003 American comedy film by director John Putch, starring David DeLuise, Missi Pyle, and Rodney Lee Conover. Ted Davis (David DeLuise) is a real lady's man, with the tell-tale charm, heart-breaker reputation, and oversized little black book to prove it. Ted is a guy's guy and all his friends can only hope to aspire to be like him. But when the leggy, stunning, femme fatale Heather (Missi Pyle) moves in next door, things change. The athletic and flexible babe is exactly Ted's type and he can't wait to get to know her in the biblical sense. But when none of his usual pick-up lines or tricks work on her, he's stumped. Following the advice of a friend, he talks to Heather honestly and opens himself up to her, sans games and ploys. It works and the two become a pair! But when Ted realizes that he's losing his playboy superpowers, he leaves Heather to reassert his identity as BachelorMan. There's only one problem'none of his usual sure-fire tactics are working! The ladies just aren't interested. Are his powers gone for good? And can he possibly get Heather back? BachelorMan is a whole new take on superheros.moreless
