Bad City, also known as Dirty Work, is a 2006 dramatic film written and directed by Bruce Terris that explores how the criminal and political worlds intersect in underground Chicago. Julian (Austin Pendleton) is an evil and merciless gangster who earns his living through his involvement in drugs, robberies and prostitution. Throwing wild parties where street girls can get raped and even murdered is Julian's idea of fun. Manning (Lance Reddick) is a police officer who was once entirely devoted to his job, but has now become less enthusiastic due to the growth of the criminal world and his inability to change anything in the big city. Lena (Nutsa Kukhianidze) is a girl who barely escaped with Manning's help from Julian's party, having witnessed horrible things that took place there.
