Released:
1991
Rating:
R
Bad Girls from Mars is a spoof of bad horror movies, featuring all the cheesy one-liners, over-the-top acting, and vapid vixens you’d expect from a cheap sci-fi flick. There’s a killer on the loose in Hollywood, and he’s going after the lead actresses in the film production of Bad Girls from Mars. Detectives search for the deadly criminal while the producers fear they’ll have to stop working on the film. They call in a gorgeous European bombshell named Emanuelle to take over as the film’s lead, and the sexy actress finds herself at the top of the billing—as well as the killer’s hit list. Edy Williams plays the stunning Emanuelle with style and grace, calling upon her own experience in B-movie cult classics like Beyond the Valley of the Dolls and The Happy Hooker Goes to Washington. Appearing alongside her are Oliver Darrow as TJ McMasters, Brinke Stevens as Myra, Jay Richardson as Richard Trent, and Dana Bentley as Martine. Bad Girls from Mars is a fun send-up of B-movie clichés, written by Mark Thomas McGee and Fred Olen Ray.moreless
