Bad Man's River, released in 1971, is a western comedy directed by Eugenio Martin and co-written with Philip Yordan. Rated PG, this Spanish language film debuted in Italy in 1971 and was released in the United States in 1974, under the title Hunt the Man Down. The movie was filmed in Colmenar Viejo, Madrid, Spain. In the film, Roy King (Lee Van Cleef), leader of a bank-robbing gang, suffers the loss of his beautiful wife Alicia (Gina Lollobridgida) to the Revolutionary fighter Montero (James Mason). Inspite of their shared affection for Alicia and the feelings of resentment towards each other, King and his gang join forces with Mr. and Mrs. Montero in a scheme to swindle the Mexican government out of one million dollars. Things go from bad to worse when King and his gang are rounded up and taken to a rebel stronghold. The con is on, but who is conning who?
