Bambi 2 begins its story within the original Bambi, during a segment of time that the audience was not originally privy to. Immediately following the death of Bambi's (Alexander Gould) mother, his father, the Great Prince of the Forest (Patrick Stewart), is told that Friend Owl (Keith Ferguson) will be unable to locate a surrogate mother for Bambi for several months. Therefore, the prince must help with the young fawn's upbringing throughout the winter, although he has some reservations about doing so. While Bambi and his father struggle to understand one another, plenty of fun commences between the young fawn and his friends. Bambi, Thumper (Brendon Baerg), Flower (Nicky Jones) and Faline (Andrea Bowen) discuss spring with a groundhog and try to outsmart a porcupine who is stopping visitors from accessing a log bridge. They also encounter Ronno (Anthony Ghannam), a villanous deer, who tries to make trouble in the forest. Through it all, Bambi attempts to develop a relationship with his father and grow into a courageous young deer.moreless
