Banshee is a 2006 thriller directed by Kari Skogland. Sage Rion (Taryn Manning) is an overly confident, beautiful, professional car thief. She is so skilled at her craft that her fellow criminals nickname her Banshee after the violent spirits of death in ancient Irish folklore. When Sage decides to steal a vintage 1966 Dodge Charger, she soon realizes that this car heist might be her last. The owner of the car is a psychopathic local disc jockey named John Larch (Christian Campbell), a serial killer who enjoys recording the screams of the people he murders and playing them as music in his popular dance club. When John finds out that Sage stole his prized possession, he decides to start framing her for murders that he is committing. Sage must team up with police detective Oliver Fitzgerald (Michael Lombardi) as she struggles to clear her name and bring the real killer to justice.
