Barney: Please and Thank You is a gentle, educational video geared to teaching young children the importance of politeness. When Barney's friend Baby Bop neglects to tell people "please" and "thank you" after they have done her a favor, Barney steps in to teach her a lesson. Through toe-tapping songs and a little dinosaur hip shaking, Barney explains to Baby Bop that people like to do other people favors because it makes them feel good inside. When people aren't thanked, though, it makes them feel bad inside. As the lyrics to the "Please and Thank You" song say, "Please and thank you are the magic words." When Baby Bop dreams about a world without please and thank you, the lesson finally sinks in and she learns the value of being kind and courteous to others. Barney: Please and Thank You is from the production studio HiT Entertainment and is aimed at children between the ages of 1 to 8 years-old.
