Released:
2006
Rating:
PG
Barnyard is an animated family comedy that features a barn full of wacky animals voiced by a star studded cast. Otis the cow (Kevin James) is an actual party animal. Otis prefers having a good time over being your typical cow. His father Ben (Sam Elliott) is the traditionalist leader of the barnyard, keeping the animals in check whenever the prying eyes of a human are around. After a particularly earth shattering party, Ben reprimands Otis and suggests that he reassess his role in the barnyard. Otis does not want anything interfering with his freewheeling lifestyle and decides to leave. He is joined by Pip the mouse (Jeff Garcia), Pig (Tino Insana), Freddy the ferret (Cam Clarke) and Peck the rooster (Rob Paulsen). Along the way, Otis meets a new love interest in Daisy (Courtenay Cox). When there's trouble back at the barnyard, Otis is quick to return and take up the mantle of leader.
