Bart Got a Room is a coming-of-age comedy about a nerdy high school student who is struggling to deal with his life at home and the upcoming senior prom. Danny Stein (Steven Kaplan) is having a difficult time getting a date for the prom. His problems are compounded by the fact that his home life is falling apart. His dad, Ernie (William H. Macy) and his mom, Beth (Cheryl Hines) are divorced and both are trying to pick up the pieces and embark on new love lives. At the same time, Danny is struggling between taking his best friend, Camille (Alia Shawkat), to the prom or trying to get a date with the school's hottest cheerleader. What makes him feel even worse is that the school's biggest nerd, Bart (Chad Jamian Williams), already has a date and has even booked a hotel room for the night. Will Bart succeed in finding love or is he doomed to follow the same unhappy path as his parents?
