Brothers Bill and Cal Ripken bring a wealth of baseball experience to the viewer in an informative way based on the techniques taught to them by their father Cal Ripken, Sr., former player and manager of the Baltimore Orioles. The instruction is easy-to-follow and covers individual and team techniques. The tutorial covers step-by-step defensive techniques and includes film of real players demonstrating the lessons. Topics include 5-4-3 double play, 6-4-3 and 4-6-3 double plays, pitcher covering first, the backhand, the relay, the rundown and covering a steal.
