Baseball the Ripken Way: Hitting is a 2005 instructional movie directed by Arts Alliance America. Brothers Bill and Cal Ripken bring a combined total of 33 years of major league baseball experience to the viewer in an informative way, based on the techniques taught to them by their father Cal Ripken, Sr., former player and manager of the Baltimore Orioles. The instructions are easy to follow, and the tutorial covers step-by-step hitting techniques and includes film of real players demonstrating the lessons. Topics include where to put your feet, how to give a strong swing, how to execute proper follow-through and how to bunt. The movie is 51 minutes long and is perfect for players of all ages and levels of play. It provides detailed explanations and will help young baseball players improve their game. In addition to players learning the proper hitting fundamentals, the movie offers coaches various hitting skills to work on with their players.
