Basic Instinct 2 is the ill fated follow up to the original blockbuster erotic thriller focusing again on everyone's favorite femme fatale romance novelist Catherine Tramell. Tramell (Sharon Stone) is now living in London, England. While she's enjoying the high-life in the city, she finds herself in trouble again. When she couldn't save the life of a soccer star player (Stan Collymore), after her car went over the bridge and crashing the car in the river, it looks Catherine might face jail time because of the unexpected accident. After discussing it with a judge, a criminal psychologist Dr. Michael Glass (David Morrissey) becomes her client -the possibility existing that Catherine is becoming dangerous to society and herself. Dr. Glass soon finds himself playing Cat and Mouse with Catherine as their sexual passions rise and their affair is turning highly dangerous. But then strange murders start to occur, especially as those deaths are related to Dr. Glass. And while Dr. Glass thinks that Catherine might have something to do with these murders, it soon starts to become a possibility Dr. Glass isn't what he appears to be himself.moreless
