The Batman vs. Dracula is a 2005 direct-to-video animated film that pits the caped crusader against the dark prince. When The Joker and Penguin once again break out of Arkham Asylum, Batman tracks them down to a cemetery where a stash of stolen money has supposedly been hidden in a coffin. In a rush, Penguin opens the wrong coffin. He finds a corpse and accidentally dribbles a drop of blood on it from a small wound. Unfortunately for Gotham, that corpse is none other than the fabled vampire, Count Dracula. The Count wastes no time in making himself at home, attacking Gotham's citizens and putting criminals under his hypnotic spell. His real target, however, is the Batman who he believes is a successor to his own legend. Infiltrating Bruce Wayne's social circle and kidnapping the lovely Vicki Vale, Dracula sets up a showdown with the dark knight that neither will ever forget.
