The Battle of Haditha is set a few months after the battle in Iraq of the same name, set among a dusty convoy of U.S. Marines serving there. The bomb of an insurgent takes the life of Pfc. Cuthbert (Jase Willette) causing Corporal Ramirez (Elliot Ruiz) to lose his composure and lead three other Marines of the Kilo Company in the massacre of 24 Iraqis - many of whom were civilians. The intriguing tale of the investigation following this event follows not only the Marines of Kilo Company, but the insurgents who placed the bomb and Hiba (Yasmine Hanani) and her family who were unexpectedly caught in the chaos of that day. This film illustrates in great and exact detail the horrors of war - showing without bias the experiences of American soldiers and Iraqi families. This film is a compelling recreation of the battle that allows the viewer to see what might have been from all sides of the fence and lets them decide for themselves who may have been right and wrong.moreless
